The challenges of his past continue to fuel his determination to achieve more.
Mbusi’s higher purpose as a TAX Leader is to become a prolific African leader who significantly contributes to shaping policies that help eradicate poverty across the continent.
Additionally, he is committed to providing effective mentorship to young tax professionals, fostering the next generation of leaders. He believes that respect is fundamental to successful collaboration and eliminating arrogance and values the importance of respecting individual contributions to make SNG Grant Thornton a great organization.
Outside of work, he is deeply committed to empowering and helping his community. As part of the interim leadership team of a community organization, he actively participates in projects that foster community development, social cohesion, and human dignity.
To maintain a healthy work-life balance, he works out at least twice a week and enjoys watching soccer, a passion rooted in his past as a soccer player.
