The Africa Director Development Programme consists of both theory and practical training modules. We target newly appointed Directors or Senior Managers who have been classified as talent. We aim to create a pipeline of quality Director candidates that instils and encourages a sustainable future for SNG Grant Thornton. The programme is presented in a blended format: individual online learning, face-to-face training, group work, practical presentations, Director/Exco presentations and individual assessments. Built into this programme are virtual and physical immersions to heighten the learning.

The Executive Development Programme targets finance and accounting services for black female senior managers who currently hold strategic and business leadership responsibilities, focusing on both local and global business in the 21st century.

The programme provides insight into the business leadership role and increases leaders' effectiveness. The programme is delivered virtually in blocks of four days, spread over three months.

The Women in Leadership Fellows Programme offers customized leadership training for women executives on their path to the C suite that is academic, behavioural, and technical. The programme is scheduled over eight months, and delegates need to attend classes: for three days in the first three months and then one day each month after that. There is a physical programme, an international immersion that is one week in duration built into this programme. All classes are held virtually, and the Global international immersion will occur physically at various locations worldwide.

Experienced Director and Manager Courses enables experienced Directors and Managers, L&D presents on-request training courses for Directors and Managers. The open courses training takes place monthly, virtual or face-to-face, depending on service line/department and delegate preference. The courses focus on competencies such as client relationship, commerciality, credibility, communication, developing self and others, growing the business, innovation and change, judgement, decision making and leadership. Various courses are presented to support the enablement of these competencies: project management, how to manage meetings, how to manage employee relations, how to manage performance, how to coach and how to lead are some of the training courses presented to our experienced Directors and Managers.

The New Manager programme is aimed at managers and senior managers who are recognised as future leaders by their firms and is designed to support cross-border and cross-service line collaboration.

Participants will network and collaborate cross-regionally, develop their understanding of the regional market and the role of the growth advisor and improve the skills needed to lead successful and diverse teams and leverage individual strength.

This is a training initiative for trainees at levels 1-3. 

We facilitate workplace readiness in this programme for first-year trainees. We train:
